<Note>
  **Source of truth:** Exact prices, contact limits, and email caps can change. Always check the [pricing page](https://nudgen.net/pricing) and the **Billing** section in the app for current plans and limits.
</Note>

## Usage meters

On the **Billing** page you'll see:

* **Contacts used** — Current count vs your plan limit
* **Emails sent this month** — Resets each billing cycle
* **Drip sequences used** — Active sequences vs limit (if applicable)

Plan limits are enforced before actions. You cannot upload contacts beyond your limit or send more emails than your monthly or daily cap. The UI shows usage so you know when you're approaching limits.

## When you hit limits

* **Contact limit:** New uploads or adds are blocked until you remove contacts or upgrade.
* **Email cap:** Sending is blocked until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade. Already-queued emails may still send up to the cap.
* **Rate limits:** Too many requests (e.g. API or sends) can be temporarily rate-limited to protect the service.

## Upgrade or change plan

1. Go to **Billing**.
2. Find your current plan and click **Upgrade** or **Change plan**.
3. You'll be redirected to the checkout (powered by Polar).
4. Complete payment. Your new plan and limits take effect immediately.

## Customer portal

Use the **Manage subscription** or **Billing portal** link to:

* Update payment method
* View and download invoices
* Cancel or change your subscription

## Enterprise

For custom limits, SLA, or dedicated support, contact us at [contact@nudgen.net](mailto:contact@nudgen.net).

## What happens next

* Stay within limits to avoid blocked uploads or sends.
* Upgrade before trial ends to keep using Nudgen without interruption.
