# Brand overview

> Configure tone presets, custom prompts, and example emails for AI-generated content

## What this page helps you do

Set the voice and style of AI-generated emails so they sound like your brand, not a generic template. You can use presets, add custom instructions, and provide example emails for calibration.

## Before you start

* A Nudgen account
* A clear idea of how you want to sound (e.g. casual, professional, urgent)

## Preset tones

Choose one of four presets to shape the AI's default style:

| Preset           | Best for                              | Example vibe                       |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------- |
| **Friendly**     | E-commerce, shops, lifestyle products | Warm, approachable, conversational |
| **Professional** | B2B, finance, formal contexts         | Clear, polished, respectful        |
| **Playful** | Consumer apps, Duolingo-style nudges | Fun, light humor, friendly urgency |
| **Urgent**       | Time-sensitive offers, winbacks       | Direct, action-focused, scarcity   |

You can change the preset anytime. New campaigns use the active preset unless you pick a different brand config.

## Custom prompt

Add extra instructions so the AI matches your voice more closely. Examples:

* "Use short sentences. Avoid jargon."
* "Reference the user's name once in the first paragraph."
* "End with a single clear CTA. No multiple links."
* "Tone should feel like a helpful colleague, not salesy."

These are combined with the preset and campaign goal when generating content.

## Example emails

Provide 1–3 example emails that reflect the tone you want. The AI uses them as references when generating new content. Include:

* Subject lines you like
* Opening and closing style
* Level of formality
* CTA style

<Note>
  Examples are for tone calibration only. The AI does not copy your text; it learns the style and applies it to new campaigns.
</Note>

## Multiple brand configs

You can save several brand configs (e.g. "Product Launch", "Re-engagement", "Support"). When creating a campaign, select which config to use. This lets you switch tone by campaign type without changing a single global setting.

## What happens next

* [Create a campaign](/en/campaigns/create) and select your brand config. AI will use your tone and prompts.
* Regenerate content if the output doesn't match — you can tweak the prompt and try again.
