# How to Use the Editor

> Customize your professional email signature

## The Editor Interface

The Signature Generator features a real-time preview editor with five main tabs to customize every aspect of your signature.

### 1. Basic Information

Enter your personal and company details. These fields support custom labels and reordering.

* **Name & Title**: Your primary identity.
* **Company & Department**: Your professional context.
* **Contact Info**: Email, phone numbers, and website URL.
* **Avatar/Logo**: Upload your personal photo or company logo. You can adjust the size and shape (square, circle, or rounded).

### 2. Social Links

Connect with your audience by adding social media icons.

* Click **Add Social** to choose from over 40 platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
* Paste your profile URL.

### 3. Style Options

Fine-tune the visual appearance to match your brand.

* **Colors**: Customize the primary, secondary, and background colors.
* **Typography**: Choose from curated font families and adjust font sizes.
* **Layout**: Adjust column widths and vertical separators (slash, pipe, or at-symbol).

### 4. Addons

Enhance your signature with functional widgets:

* **Disclaimer**: Add legal or privacy notices.
* **Banner**: Upload a promotional banner image with a destination link.
* **CTA Button**: Add a high-visibility button for scheduling calls or viewing demos.
* **Mobile App Badges**: Drive downloads for your iOS or Android apps.
* **Video Conference**: Add join links for Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.

### 5. Templates & Presets

* **Templates**: Choose from 9 professional table-based layouts.
* **Presets**: Start quickly with pre-designed styles that you can further customize.

## Saving and Exporting

Your changes are automatically saved to your browser's local storage. Once you are happy with the design, use the actions at the bottom of the preview:

* **Copy to Clipboard**: Copies the rich HTML signature, ready to paste into your email client settings.
* **Copy HTML**: Copies the raw source code for advanced usage.
* **Export JSON**: Save your configuration as a file to share or use later.
* **Import JSON**: Load a previously saved configuration.
